ANDROID APN SETTING FOR GLO, MTN, AIRTEL AND ETISALAT IN NIGERIA

Readers , here are the automatic and manual  apn configuration for your android and ios phones in nigeria
  In the event of your device not accepting automatic settings or network problem, below are the manual settings, Go to settings on your phone and enter Internet Configuration Settings, Select Create New Access Point and type the data below:

Account Name: MTN GPRS
Access Point Name (APN) :: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Username :web
Password: web
You can either use proxy or not, If you select 'Use Proxy' In the IP Address bar type: 10.199.212.8
and type 8080 in the 'Port' bar
Save the settings and enjoy your browsing.

AIRTEL - For automatic settings text Internet *space* Phone Model *space* Phone Model Number to 232 e.g Internet Nokia 5300 to 232

Access Point Name (APN) : internet.ng.airtel.com
Username :internet
Password:internet
Save settings

GLO - For automatic settings go to where you will see a box to enter your phone number and click submit, You will be redirected to a page for code verification, enter the given code and click submi. A four digit code will be sent to your phone, enter the code online and click submit, tis one get wahala sha.
Manually

Access Point Name (APN) :glo wap
Username : wap
Password: wap
IP Address: 010.100.098.022
Port: 9201
Note: Leave all other fields as they are.

ETISALAT: Send an SMS with the word 'SETTINGS' to 790 and save the settings when it arrives for the automatic way.

Username : leave blank
Password: leave
